abouteBikes is an independent website operated from the United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected].
What this site is
abouteBikes publishes information about electric bikes and related equipment: what the specifications mean, how products compare on paper, and what owners commonly report. It is general information to help you make your own decision.
It is not professional, technical or safety advice, and it is not a substitute for the manufacturer’s own instructions. Electric bikes carry real risks, among them batteries, brakes and road use. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidance, and get anything you are unsure about checked by a qualified bike mechanic.
We do not carry out hands-on testing. Our write-ups are based on published specifications and patterns in owner feedback, which is set out in full on the How We Choose page.
Accuracy
We take care to get things right, but specifications change between production runs, manufacturers make claims we cannot verify, and prices and availability change constantly. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a product has a particular specification, is in stock, or costs a particular amount.
Always check the current product listing and the manufacturer’s own documentation before buying. If you spot an error on the site, please tell us and we will correct it.
